The fees detailed on this page apply to Freelancers (Sellers) and Outsourcers (Buyers).
Smource does not charge a listing or insertion fee. Freelancers (Sellers) and Outsourcers (Buyers) are each charged a 7.5% final value fee on all transactions. This service fee is charged to Outsourcers (Buyers) at the point of sale and Freelancers (Sellers) are charged at the stage of order completion. For example, if a Freelancer’s service were priced at 100GHS, the Outsourcer would pay 107.50GHS to Smource and the Freelancer would receive 92.50GHS upon completion and delivery of the service. Outsourcers may not pay Freelancers directly using any payment method other than ordering through Smource. When an Outsourcer places an order, they pay Smource. When the order is completed, Smource deducts the Freelancers final value fee and 92.5% of the funds are assigned to the Freelancer. For financial processing and to ensure the order has been fulfilled to the Buyers satisfaction, there is a 7-day clearing period. Thereafter, the funds will be cleared and will be available for withdrawal.
